Global Game Jam 2019

The Global Game Jam is the No.1 largest game event (video game creation) taking place around the world at physical locations. It is a 48-hour hackathon focused on game development where game developers and animators come together, be creative, share experiences and express themselves in a multitude of ways using games.

Game Evo Tour 2.0 (Lagos Qualifiers)

The Game Evo Tour returns for the second year bringing more states like Asaba and Port Harcourt into the fold. This year is bigger with a wider array of games including but not limited to FIFA 19, PES 19, Dance Central, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Smash Bros Ultimate, Mortal Kombat 11, Street Fighter V, and Tekken 7.

Game Arena

Game Arena is an esports TV show where the participants and guests are the stars of the program. There are 5 genres of game tournament participants can enter, local game releases and reviews, celebrity game grudge matches, and the beat the boss spectacle; the main event where any challenger can have a crack at a pro-gamer.

National qualifiers across 12 major cities which include Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Calabar, Bennin, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Warri, Asaba, Owerri, Enugu, and Awka. The winners get a chance to represent Nigeria in the following games; FIFA 19, Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Fornite, and Clash of Clans at the Africa eSports Championship Grand Finale in Kenya.

Abuja Comic Con 2019

The inaugural edition of the Abuja Comic Convention is an event that represents the ultimate expression of popular art forms by creators, purveyors, and fans of the comic culture across Nigeria. This first meetup will bring all lovers of comics, graphic novels, animation, games, cosplay, and robotics to the city of Abuja for a full day of exhibitions, screenings, and contests.


September 2019

Lagos Comic Con 2019

The 8th edition of the biggest annual event for comics, animation, gaming, films, and books in Nigeria is here again. This year for the first time ever, the Lagos Comic-Con will be a 3 day event featuring the usual exhibitions, competitions, panel sessions, masterclasses, fist awards, and the ever-delightful cosplays.

October 2019

Africa eSports Championship

The maiden edition of the Africa eSports Championship (AEC) is an all-inclusive eSports tournament with a total of 24 African countries in participation. 5 grand slam tournaments featuring FIFA 19, Tekken 7, Clash Royale, Fornite, and Street Fighter will be on display. AEC is aimed at creating synergy in African esports and empowering Africa with technology, education, entertainment, and sportsmanship.

Unicon Africa 2019

UNICON is a convention and business summit dedicated to propelling the African animation, comics, and gaming (ACG) industries forward. The 2nd edition would bring the usual cast of ACG content creators together as well as local and international stakeholders for an exciting day focused on telling African stories.


December 2019

Game Evolution Convention 2019

The second edition of the Game Evo Convention (GECon) focusing on players in the video games space (such as e-sport professionals and video game developers) is back. The event will bring the usual cast of industry players from the comic, animation, and gaming scenes. Additionally, a Unity to Unreal workshop will be available for interested developers wanting to port their Unity games to Unreal.
