To start 2019, we've decided to summarise all notable headlines and game releases that occurred last year in gaming. Techpoint Africa did a feature on Emmanuel Omene, the Nigerian game developer cashing out big on Upwork.

Lizzies Creation rebranded as ZenAfri and launched a new episodic interactive app.
Gamsole marked the release of their first ever video game on the iOS App Store with Gidi Run 2.
SeptemberBeastMode Games brought the widely popular HQ Trivia live show to Nigeria in the form of TQ Trivia: Small Quiz Big Money.
The 7th and biggest edition of the LagosComicCon was held at the Landmark Event Center.
